Dane Sanvido, Owner, General Manager/Winemaker

Dane is an internationally experienced winemaker with nearly 24 harvests on his resume. Originally from South Africa, he earned a degree in enology and pomology from The University of Stellenbosh before producing wines for various wineries throughout the world including South Africa, Austria, Australia, New Zealand, California, Missouri, and Texas.

Working in different environments and using a vast range of machinery has given Dane the experience to build a state of the art winery and the confidence to bring lesser-known grape varietals to the forefront.

Mckenzie Sanvido, Owner, Wine Chemist/Tasting Room Manager

Mckenzie is a graduate from The University of Nevada, Reno with degrees in Biology and Analytical Chemistry. She received international research experience in Chemical Ecology through a NSF grant and fellowship program where she performed field work and chemical analysis in both Brazil and Costa Rica. She later received the esteemed title of Young Alumni in 2018.

After college, Mckenzie found a love for the wine industry while working with Constellation Brands and wine laboratories throughout Sonoma, New Zealand, and Monterey. Inspired, Mckenzie and Dane opened The Lab Pros, the first commercial wine laboratory for the Central Coast of California and Texas.

Mckenzie currently manages The Lab Pros and the tasting room at Untamed Wine Estates.
